Unaligned crosshairs

I've noticed that (at least) my nailgun and rpg crosshairs are a bit off as to where you aim and where the shot actually hits. Is this because the projectiles are propelled out of the lower right corner "of the screen" (since the nails and rpgs tend to hit low and to the right of where the crosshair is situated)? Is there any way to adjust the crosshair so the shots actually hit where I aim?

For the shotgun and supershotgun the shots hit spot on where the crosshair is btw...

I use different crosshairs for the nailgun and rpg and the crosshairs are just various ones that I have selected from the Fortress Options menu.

I've noticed this.. pain the ar*e when aiming for an SG with the nailgun

well unless we use centered weapons or 3d crosshairs, there will always be a small error. you cant make 2d crosshairs perfect at every distance with off center weapons.

Does CS: Source have the same problem? I've never noticed it in that game.

Edit: Oh yeah, there aren't actually projectiles in that game, sorry.

you can make a custom edited xhair that is specialized for the nailguns, it works for me

I'm so used to unaligned crosshair, that if they ever fixed it, it will fucked me up so bad, especially for the tranq

lol i don't even use xhairs for the tranq cause elwood gave me his tranq hacks
