CrosuS Map / Mod Management System - Page 2

I'm just having a really rough time right now and was excited to use CrosuS. Its probably just my worthless DSL. My apologies.

I'm fixing the Fortress Forever Patch at the moment. It should be up within 30min

.. I do of course need to test the patch as well.

Yep I know your not a dev. But I was thinking maybe someone forgot to let us know they were releasing and had forwarded the files on to you to get the system ready to update us

But.....oh well...off to see if Steam is going to cooperate tonight.

Before I uninstalled CrosuS, I noticed that the server browser was trying to download thousands and thousands of servers. I eventually had to stop it as it was lagging my computer horribly. I'm guessing it was download all HL2 servers and then filtering for FF. There were a couple of other issues that I can't remember off-hand...

Overall the program wasn't too bad but besides ff updates (only 1 released atm), I didn't see a need to keep it installed. Hopefully they'll make the interface easier to use and fix some of the bugs, I'd really like to see it take off. And of course, if it means the devs will release more incremental patches, I'll reinstall right now

I understand, but since it was being pushed on the forums by the devs... I guess I sorta expected it to be a tad more polished than it was.

Comunity map pack release . I just checked and there is still only 15 FF maps on CrosuS. I think there is around 40 maps in the zip file.

If you would like you can use the loading screens or I'll take the time to go threw the mapping forums and zip down the screenies or post links to screenies for you. Just let me know but I'll be out of town for a week starting today.

On seconded thought I'll just redo it and put screen shots in the zip files for you.

You sure you want to do that? I could also download each map posted on the forums (with screenshots) and add them myself that way. Up to you though, and thanks.

UH I have it installed but now how do i set it up so it downloads automaticly? btw when crosus is open, my hard drive starts working overtime for some reason and wont stop making so much noise.
