Fish?

Anyone here fish...I mean outside of trolling on these forums? I christened the new license yesterday by limiting out on rainbow trout. Good stuff and a good start to the year.

I do, but I haven't gotten out this season yet. I useualy fish up and down the Delaware river or a huge lake nearby.

I went deap sea fishing last summer for tuna. It was amazing.

I get my fish from Loblaws.

I went fishing once, it wasn't exciting enough to satisfy my ADHD.

I'd like to do Ocean fishing at some point in time. Fishing is a great deal of fun once you figure out time of day, location, good bait and technique. I can't speak for satisfying ADHD but it's a genuine thrill. It was even more fun to get the hook set and then let my 4 year old nephew bring it in.

Ocean fishing is a lot of fun. The captain usualy just trolls around depending on what we're fishing for. Tuna was great. It was a 2 day trip and being in the middle of the ocean at 2 am is beautiful squid and jellyfish start coming to the surface. The jellyfish were glowing the whole time too.

Bluefish are fun to snag. They fight real hard, so do tuna for that matter. I was tired after bringing in two I had to go sit down haha.

Fishing is a good time, as long as you don't expect any excitement. If you're perfectly content to sit around on a boat and shoot the shit with some friends for a few hours, then fishing is up your alley. If you actually want lots of fish, you might not have as good a time.

And, if you're not expecting anything too exciting, it makes it a lot more fun when something exciting DOES happen.

I went fishing once, in the cub scouts.

I liked to stand peacefully by the lake and hope to catch something. It was nice.

However, the little 'tard next to me thought it would be fun to damn near rip my face off with his poorly aimed cast. He had the motor control of an epileptic on a trampoline. I packed it in after almost being hit twice.

My wife and I went shark fishing down in Cocoa Beach a few years back, now THAT'S fun.

They'll gut and cut your catch for you right off the boat. Nothing like chumming the waters and having some very hungry angry sharks swimming around the boat.

and sometimes just straight out of the water.

although I couldn't bring myself to try it. The guys we went tuna fishing with cut up their first catch and ate it raw right off the bone. Doesn't get any fresher
