well what the piss. maybe it was another fortress mod? either way, the list was comprehensive and showed percentages of each thing completed like textures, coding, models, etc.

Here's what's done:

1)- /materials/ folder - 95% (only a few props' materials left to do)
2)- /models/ folder - 90% ( player models done! just a few prop models left )
3)- /sound/ folder - 70% (tfc sounds ported and many incorporated into Source's soundscript system, still need to copy HL sounds over)
4)- /maps/ folder - 10% ( I just got 2fort converted brush by brush 100%, need mappers to help convert maps!)
5)- /resource/ folder - 50%? lots of custom .res files for VGUI and misc.
6)- /scripts/ folder - 50%? various file conversions in progress
7)- /bin/ folder - The final frontier, I work on the code gradually as new content is finished. Esimated 40% done.

Looks like it was started back in May, but he may be referring to how much actual time he's put into it, not how long he's been working on it for.

Probly meant to say he's only put a month of work into the 2fort map, as that post was in his 2fort thread, and everything he says after he says he's worked a month refers to mapping.

It might be nice to know that Valve wanted to port TFC to the Source Engine, maybe due to the negative response to HL:S, Valve scrapped the project. But whatever cause we already have FF. I can bet that TFC:S is just a port like HL:S

Any news on this? I hope it died And is this even legal? It looks like it uses content from commercial game.

Honestly, what is even the point; it's been 2 years since he has started it and has barely gotten anywhere. Just play TFC, there is nothing wrong with it, unless of course you're a slut about graphics, and from what I remember his, "2fort graphics update" looked like shit.

His 2fort did just look like tfc 2fort doused in vaseline. That doesn't mean someone else couldn't make some cool looking stuff for it. But it still just seems more like resume fodder than a project he is interested in.

He rebuilt the ceiling texture in 3d, made models of the ceiling lights, and made everything way too shiny. He may have bumpmapped the floor, can't remember.

Screenshots on the previous page btw. It's not half as bad as I remember, but it is quite lack luster.
