Help pls Fortress forever problem

i just downloaded fortress forever and i double click on the icon and it starts to start up... but then just closes out....
pls help me

Right clickon the name, and click on "Launch Game".

Do you have Source SDK Base in your Steam Tools section?

Try to reinstall FF if you still have the installer.

What kind of graphics adapter do you have? Sounds like your over loading your video display and it shuts the game down to save it.

umm ill try to re-install FF
do i need half life2 installed on my comp? lol or halflife2 death match?

Actually you just need to own them, so you have access to Source SDK Base. You don't need the actual games installed.
