Quickie... Console command combo.
I've been tweaking my Half-Life 2 weapons with the console commands, quite fun to see a gun working at a potential that one may see fit.
However, it seems that nearly all my console commands are canceled once I go to another level. The most obvious fix I see is a bind key, like when I hit X it automatically executes the 15+/- different commands I set up to adjust all my weapons/etc. But I can't seem to be able to bind so many commands on one key. Either I'm doing it wrong or it just plain won't work. There a way to 'save' all my console commands so I don't need to keep retyping them, or a combobind I can do? |

Can you post the commands? That sounds awsome
you could A.) use the ';' to separate commands. (i.e bind "mousewheelup" " name <something> ; +attack1 ; +forward ; -attack ; wait ; name Reaper " So then it would do something like this Change name to < Something > Shoot Move forward Stop shooting then stop moving forward Wait a brief second Change name to Reaper the 'wait' command in between the ';' is a pause. B.) Add the lines to a script, then in game in the console put 'exec filename.cfg' |

Make a config file?
Find where userconfig.cfg is in your HL2 directory, then make a new config called whatever.cfg. Put all of your commands in whatever.cfg. Add a line in userconfig.cfg: exec whatever.cfg And if you have any problems during the game, you can just type ^ that command in during the game.
