MD5 Hash

I'm creating an HTML file with images that I am going to put in a .zip file and distribute it over the Internet.

I was researching on MD5 hashes and how they can be used to confirm a file has not been altered in transit or that you are downloading a file with the contents changed.

So I have this .zip file on my desktop and I would like to generate a MD5 hash for it. The file is about 4MB in size.

I've been looking for editors but I haven't been able to find any except for a command line one from SourceForge that explains things really poorly.

So can you guys help me please? kthx.

Integrates hash checking into the Windows shell. Just right click and hit Properties on a file. Awesome!

It's bitchin', it integrates itself into the Windows shell, so you just right click properties on something and it tells you the MD5 hash along with a bunch of other algorhythms. It owns.
