run more than one server on a pc at a time ?

Maybe one of you all can help me. Every time i try to run a second server i get this message from steam "Failed to start game (app already running)." Is there a work around for it as i would like to host at lest 3 more servers for this game on my linux box

If you have the capability to virtualize and a powerful enough server, you could run 3 different VMs on 3 different IPs.

Otherwise you will need a bunch of different port sets, and a powerful physical machine.

If you're going to host servers download SRCDS. As far as I recall, SRCDS allowed you to bypass most of steam to run a server. Also, don't VM your servers, you would waste a huge amount of system resources running virtual machines your host system. SRCDS is capable of binding to separate IPs, assuming your system has them bound. Otherwise you can use the -port flag to set an unique port on each server.
