http://www.alcyone.com/max/physics/laws/ Every single one of these are laws. Much like how Gravity is a law. However, they are all theories. Just like how Gravity is a theory. You see, the word theory does not mean 'we guessed at it'. Theories are the second to last step before something becomes law. Saying 'you can't view it seriously' is absolutely wrong.

We can say there is an observable force or phenomenon by which all objects with mass are attracted to each other (we can call this the law of gravity). Gravitation is the theory to explain this phenomenon, and currently Einstein's general theory of relativity is the theory we use, though we know it is imperfect.

I actually tried the above, it didn't work AS planned, but I found out cats like buttered toast.
Other note, vid seems interesting, will pay attention to it and ninja edit after I finish watching Godzilla :L |

This was on BBC2 last week, and finally got round to watching it. It was really interesting. The part about GPS Sats needing to have time synched cos time is faster out in space (for us) otherwise we'd be out by about 11km/day when using sat nav still makes my mind fizzle!

Amazing! Also, I'm pretty sure Fox was kidding around and making fun of people who honestly don't know what a "theory" is by defintion. |

The video was not as interesting as I thought it would be: "Yay quantum theory will solve all of our mysteries!" Don't hold your breath.
