Anyone here play poker online? If so, what are your favorite sites/types of poker?

I play at full tilt poker usually Limit Holdem, or No limit tournaments.

I used to play online poker, mostly just play the real thing with friends/coworkers now. NL Texas Holdem. I've played in the casino near the bag of weed guys a few times, won a few hundred bucks... nice poker room, excellent suites.

I played on Party Poker for a while but I heard some ppl stack together in a room to play 7vs1 on you and rip you off... so I stopped. Playing online is so weird and different than real poker in a bad way imo. You can't look at the other guy and try to see through him, and that removes one key element of the game.

I tried playing in the same cash game as my coworker, and it said because we use the same IP, it won't allow it. So there are measures taken to remove cheaters.

w00t just won my first no limit tournament. It was only $1.25 buy in, but it feels good winning for a change.

I knew a guy who playing like 6 online poker games at a time all day long. Dropped out of school and spent some time in Los Vegas I think...

I didn't realize this was still popular. Back in high school I know it was all the rage... but that was years ago...

I'd be suprised if you ever find yourself in a situation where its 7vs1. If people are using collusion to rob your hard earned cash, it won't be 7 on 1. 2 people colluding on a 6 man cash table is enough to hugely increase your table equity. It does happen, you are right, but if you know what to look for it really is quite easy to spot. Stick to sit and gos, theres much less point for people to collude in those.

Also, looking a guy in the eyes and trying to work him out should have zero input into your choice of calling, folding or reraising. I massively prefer playing online to eliminate any external influences, not to mention seeing 60+ hands of poker in an hour. Timing, position and patience are the only things you require to profit.

nice. I like playing 6 man because there are less people to feel hatred towards if I lose a big hand, and the games sometimes go quicker. I only play turbo games as well. I'm really starting to learn a lot. I just won my 2nd Sit & Go last night. It's really fun knowing when to be aggressive and when to play it safe, cause you can't stick to one of those. You gotta know when to go all in or fold.
