As most of you have probably noticed, i started an experimental ctf server about a month ago with a focus on structured pub games.

From what i gather from the server logs and much to my surprise, My server has become quite popular.
I know some people don't like the friendly fire or class restrictions but that's what the other fun pub servers are for right?

Anyway i have started adding sound clips to the server, mainly canned laughter on lol / rofl / lmao triggers and player join sounds.

If you want your own custom join sound on my server, and you are a regular / enforcer / admin there; please either pm me on steam or post on here a link to a short wav / mp3 that will introduce you on the server.

Please keep join sounds under 10s, you dont need your own song and dance.

Also if anyone has any suggestions for the server or what sounds i should add, let me know =)

Dang! I had a bunch of good sounds I think would be perfect for the server. Homewer I either lost them or are more than a hundred of them.

Hello I go on the server at least a few hours a day depending on whether my friends are playing other games or not. I heard from a few people that there is an e-mail that I e-mail my SteamID and the sound file to but no one knew what the e-mail was. I wanted to know if I could get that e-mail so I can get a join sound. Also I love your map.

Ok guys, im going on holiday for a couple weeks. Try not to crash the server.

If there are troublemakers around i have enabled !votekick !voteban !votemute and !votesilence.

Also as you may have noticed we have a new stat system that you can play with using the "hlx_menu" command. Use "help" for a list of stat system commands.

I need help balancing the new points system, if you think anything is over / under rewarded please let me know here and give me suggestions on how i can improve the point system.

The new stats web frontend can be viewed here:

It keeps track of every player, their stats, aliases, clans and tags, countries and other random stuff. Awards are given each day for records set.
