Probably because it's just been released. It's always the busiest time for any release. I'm sure it'll slip down a couple after a couple weeks. Either way, I'm sure it'll stay pretty high up there

I think it will still grow in size plus some people like myself haven't even been able to install it yet (stupid UCSD orientation BS).

there is hope that it will have more than both DOD and DOD:S

then it will fall just under CS and CS:S (but thats kind of a given)

The true test will be a month or two down the line. I remember Insurgency having around 2500 players soon after release and now it's dwindled down to 250ish.

Having said that, Insurgency was released as a beta while FF seems a lot more solid and polished on its first release. But then again TF2 is right around the corner so..

As of 1 and half days into release, there's about over 324 servers, anyone think it will double or split in half in about a month?

The hope is that we'll keep FF strongly alive by releasing updates regularly.

The update with the real ff_2fort will probably be pretty popular and bring back players who were annoyed with early bugs...and other people who didn't like 2fort being missing...as well as bring in new players since I kind of predict the ff_2fort update will generate quite a bit of traffic.

We'll also have an early update with the training level included, so that should be nice.

It's nice to see the server count slowly rising.
The problem is that there are over a thousand players... and only ~300 servers.

its already beating garys thing... ( its not a mod its a thing ) i predict that this weekend it will probably quadruple because ppl like me who cant do much but install it because there at work all damn day ;P

Not sure how it's done, but can someone get a link to the Fortress Forever website on steam game statistics? Most of the popular mods have this and a lot of people do check the stats page and some may have not heard about Fortress Forever.
