Is there anything that any of us can do to figure out what will get them interested, and get them interested?

Valve will want some return on the investment, so to speak: if Valve could make some money off of each FF download, I'm sure the chances of it getting onto Steam would be much, much higher, and it could actually make it onto the platform.

I'm all for FF becoming very popular and "taking down" the almighty TF2, but for that to happen, I have a feeling Valve will want a tangible reward (read: some money) from putting FF onto the Steam marketplace.

Just my two cents.
Feels like they've squeezed all the money they can from that mod aside from purchasing hats n shit. TF2 is free now, so this would be a lot less of a problem than you'd think.

Maybe if every person writes a letter to Valve to add this to Steam, they'd finally give in? Anyone know anyone that works at Valve?

Hey, that's not a half-bad idea... that'd actually be pretty cool, if we all wrote letters to Valve about getting FF up on Steam.

7:30 applies. Kudos if you love lucy as much as I do.

Or like in The Shawshank Redemption where Andy wrote a letter a week to the state government just to get new books for his library and they sent him a crapton one day with a check for $200, just so he would stop sending them letters. To which he replied, "That's great. I'll have to start sending them 2 letters a week." ...just paraphrasing.

"Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies." Favorite line from that movie.

In fact, TSR is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen.

Especially the opera scene.

I'm pretty sure that Synergy moved to the Orange Box engine right around the time when they've been put on Steam together with a bunch of other mods. Also the mod description says it supports Episode 2, don't think that's possible without Orange Box is it?

Might be a bit late now though, as this happened in 2008: http://storefront.steampowered.com/S.../message/1843/

maybe move this bakc on topic of atleast warpath:

the bad design of the some small things is a huge reason why this game mode doesn't' work in pubs. not enough structure rather... heres how to create it.

to fix warpath:

beginning of match delay timer 30 to 1 minute the reason why it needs this is because it starts before anyone can join in making the game start out on a bad note one team isn't ready or they don't have enough players for whatever reason this game mode is prone to bad starts and to fix that a start timer needs to be lengthened. this way everyone has a chance to join in and the game starts out with everyone that's in the server in game not just the lucky few who load in fast.

ui:
the 2 points that are active need to be enlarged or brightened to show those are the correct cap points. people need to be able to look right up at the points list and clearly stated which points your going after and which one your suppose to defend. by just enlarging/brightening it could do the job quite nicely. (I've seen quite a few people confused by this thinking its a cz2 style.)

fix those 2 things and the warpath game mode could be a lot of fun in all environments of FF.
