Sound looping crash (notebook w/onboard sound upgrade?)

Would buying this reduce sound loop crashes? Upgrading from integrated sound on my desktop helped them with other Source games for me in the past. Hadn't had any reason to look into this with my Dell E1705 until FF came out. If anyone has any info on ExpressCard sound card performance increases or anything like that, let me know; info is pretty sparse especially since this seems like the only ExpressCard sound card available.

That actually worked (so far). Just played for an hour or so with no crashing, usually didn't last past 20 minutes.
