binds stop working..
After playing spy for a bit, my diguise binds stop working. They are bound on keypad as follows:
bind "KP_HOME" "disguise enemy pyro" bind "KP_UPARROW" "disguise enemy spy" bind "KP_PGUP" "disguise enemy engineer" bind "KP_LEFTARROW" "disguise enemy demoman" bind "KP_5" "disguise enemy medic" bind "KP_RIGHTARROW" "disguise enemy hwguy" bind "KP_END" "disguise enemy scout" bind "KP_DOWNARROW" "disguise enemy ssniper" bind "KP_PGDN" "disguise enemy soldier" verified that the keys are indeed bound but do not work. Edit: This seems only to happen on maps with 'different' colors, IE, not standard red/blue, but like Monkey with green, etc. Last edited by Kiastral; 09-23-2007 at 11:40 AM. |

hmm i think i have had this happen to me also, i wonder if it has anything to do with the configs for the different classes... not sure yet but i only noticed with the things that i had bound outside of the controls, from within the console..

Really, really daft question.... but.... does NUMLOCK make any difference to how the keys are detected? ie, numlock on or off?

IIRC numlock being off made a difference in HL1, so would assume its the same in HL2

Pretty sure this is mentioned in the known bugs thread. On maps with unusual colours, (monkey is red vs green for example) "disguise enemy soldier" doesn't work. Use "disguise colour soldier" instead.
