I believe this is the file in question:
http://adl.ozfortress.com/files/cgprograms.rar As said you should be wary about using it online, Also its going to have a major fps hit anyway so i wouldnt really consider using it. The only real use would be for screenshots of maps and making avi's. Im not sure if theres a readme in with it so i cant really help you with its usage. Im sure someone here can though. |

If thats what I used for a short time, you just stick everything into your team fortress classic directory and ingame adjust the bloom glow blur effect with f1 button. The first 3 levels didnt affect my fps at all.

Think they said they weren't gonna mess with that, at least not for the first release.
Shit, bunnyhopping out of a dark base and doing an immediate conc? You'd be blind for the whole trip.

No reason not to, unless valve don't add hdr code to the sdk by then.

But they have to do all that shit with the textures, too. At least that's what they said. HDR-enabled textures and whatnot.
If they can do it, though, I say go for it.

You don't need to do anything for HDR. A HDR skybox will make it look better but you don't need it afaik.

CS:S and DOD:S have HDR built in already.
HDR doesn't require any extra textures, except like kam said, HDR skyboxes make the effect look much nicer. All you need to do is set the HDR brightness on all the lights in a map. |
