Update to sm 1.1.0 & sb 1.4.0 broke menu

Greetings all,

It seems my last update break a shitload of things concerning ingame menu's.
I can't seem to get any sourcemod related menu at the console screen anymore.
sm_admin and sm_votemap no longer show anything at my client when I trigger it. It seems however that the menu does get loaded because when you leave the console screen, play the game like you normally do and then try to press a weaponslot number, it chooses options from the menu.

I haven't been able to get out of this so there's seriously something broken.

I've posted a helprequest at the sourcemod concerning this issue but it seems they aren't able to help me. Per their directions I've reinstalled the server anew by following the steps below... sadly this didn't fix anything and I'm wondering if any other server admin might've come across the problem and been able to fix it?

----

I did a complete reinstall
1. Used steam to get hl2mp.
2. gunzip + untarred the FortressForever 2.1 full linux server.
3. Installed latest metamod (1.7.0).
4. Installed latest sourcemod (1.1.0).
5. Installed latest sourcebans (1.4.0).
6. Started the server and there wasn't a single error in the log or otherwise

Yet, sadly ingame there's still the menu issue. It's not just with sm_admin, it's the same with the sm_votemap menu. It's not showing at the console screen. For some odd reason though, when you tried to spawn a menu and then decide to play, when you want to switch weapon slots and press any number, the menu-command under that number get executed, while having no idea what you are doing since you can't see anything....

Again, here's a paste of every information that might be relevant:

I don't think the latest MM and SM are compatible with FF. I tried for half the day before I found out it was broken, with the EXACT same problem your having. I suppose it tries to use the source based menu like TF2 which doesn't work in FF.
Revert back to your earlier versions and everything should be fine

I'm starting to get the idea it might have something to do with the Orange box release.

Also 82694 helped me see if it was SB doing it. I disabled the SB plugin, put myself up in the admins.cfg file and connected to the server. Sadly that also produced the same problem

Thinking of going back to SM 104 with SB 135... It's sad though cause I was already starting to like the new function which were in SB 140

Oh curses.. I forgot the backup the sourcebans database, lol!

A well, seeing the server is a nuthouse anyway, some more or less won't hurt a fly
