Release Date (or testing)

Is there any rough estimate of when TFC:Source will be released. Will you be running any beta tests?

...and I know I'm the only one replying to my own message. I keep forgetting to write things. Anyway, are people simply making their own maps for TFC:S or are they submitting them to be released with TFC:S.

1. This isn't TFC:S, its called FF.
2. This post has nothing to do with mapping, and its on the mapping forum.
3. Use the search function (or check the other forums where there are loads of threads asking the same question) before asking a question like this.

I'll answer the questions anyway, coz I have the feeling you're the kind of person to ask it again if I don't. We aren't going to put up a release date until we are sure we can meet up - unlike some over games developers! Beta testing will be open to almost anyone because the point is to test it on all possible players. Having said that everyone will want to be a beta tester and we can only let a fraction of these actually help, so the chances of you getting to play the beta are slim Im affraid. Anyone can make their own maps for FF. If we think a 3rd party map is absolutely ace and everyone should play it, then we might ask if the author minds us including it in the next release.

Other than that, great thread keep it up.
