Ah, we see a glimmer of the truth... reversed... I never wanted to join a group, I was content to remain unassociated until I read some of DH's more recent posts. In him, I saw someone akin to myself.... someone who is misunderstood by the masses. I have always been a loner, because I am "different". I think for myself, and people generally don't like that.
