Inventor hopes to sell armour suit to the military
"The whole suit -- which draws design inspiration from Star Wars, RoboCop, Batman and video games -- is made from high-impact plastic lined with ceramic bullet protection over ballistic foam."

Sweeeeeeeeeet video.
That looks like it moves real easy. Would've liked to see a test fire, but it's pretty damn impressive anyway.

to me it would seem that part of his chest and other jointed areas are exposed. vital arteries reside there and unless he is wearing a kevlar suit, im not sure i would stand in the line of fire.

the only word that comes to mind is halloween, seriously though he should take out all the fancy design and make it an exo skeleton, but one to be covered with clothing. cause imagine a batallion of those things?

would probably be a wise idea to make a regular uniform with holes in certain places to allow the gadgets to be functional but also cover it up so the enemy cant see the exposed areas.

His neck is quite exposed. I'm not exactly convinced on the fluidity of the suit. A laser pointer on the forehead, what perfect and easy target for enemy snipers to aim at. Much of it looks like unnecessary design, offering low amount of protection. $15,000 overall for something like this isn't very much at all.

An "elephant gun" is a variable statement. I'd be willing to bet it can't stand a .50BMG round.

the mine sweeper for example. during design it was green, out in the desert for the armed forces its tan color to "somewhat" help it blend in. |

As far as this suit goes It looks like a fun hobby the guy has but I am having trouble picturing that offering the mobility a ground troop needs. |

I saw that episode (some of it) of future Weapons. That vehicle, and the chains, look pretty sturdy. Most likely very easy to replace or reattach as well.
