I absolutely love this movie. It was a new form of live-action cartoon. Giant machines blew the shit out of other giant machines. Then they transformed into other things that blew shit up. It was amazing.

Not to mention the surprising quality to the script and the dialogue. I really didn't expect to be laughing that much or having that kind of fun even when giant things weren't exploding.
