Not sure but my guess is that you get one in Tenpenny Tower.

BTW, Alien Blaster FTW!

I was on my way to Old Olney grocery (one of the Nuka-Cola Quantum shipping destinations) when I ran across a downed alien space ship. Amid heavy doses of radiation I found a dead alien, his blaster, and a bunch of cells for ammo. So far everything i've hit with it turns into a pile of dust immediately. Damn! Nice weapon.

Oh shit yeah, I got that in one of the older games, along with the fuzzy Elvis painting. I'll have to look for that.

I have learned the love for the bottlecap mines though, they pwn face. Four super mutants step in, body parts fly out.

setGS iMaxCharacterLevel 40 (or 30 or 25 or 100)

You need to punch it in each time you load the game up (but not between saves). I'm working on making a mod (ESP file) that will do this automatically, but it's slow-going so far without any sort of editor to work with. I'm basically editing master files by hand.

Worth noting: if you end up with all skills maxed and have points left to spend, you're officially stuck. Set the cap lower.

It does properly raise XP needed for next level, and you do get a Perk at each new level over 20. It works perfectly, just don't go overboard.

Dialogue in Fallout, as I remember it:

1. Desperate complaint concerning Wasteland survival/conditions.
2. Anachronistic humor/cleverness.
3. Swearing/shouting/badassery.
4. Genuinely worthwhile moment.

Aside from a couple memorable conversations (usually Talking Heads or some of the better special encounters) the dialogue in Fallout 1 and 2 wasn't all that fucking great. Okay, the dialogue in Fallout 3 isn't stellar either, but I haven't had any conversations where I was like "Okay this is just retarded." I've had some parts where I was like, oh, that's odd, or "Huh," but never "Jesus Christ this game is fucking horrible."
I'll give you that I exaggerated how good the dialogue was in the other Fallout games. But how can you call this game Fallout when speech factors into the game as little as it does? You can easily beat other Fallout games using speech to solve the majority of your problems. In Fallout 3, I'm stuck role-playing two characters: good dude with a gun, or bad dude with a gun. That sucks, especially when the combat is so fucking boring. The slow-motion shit and grunts kill me, so I would at least like an alternative.

That $10 saves me from having to spend a few hundred to upgrade my PC.

And I don't have a 58" monitor either.

I already knew the game was different, my complaint was that it's worse.

You say it's impossible, yet your wrong, it's just a lot harder to do.

I have heard of people beating the entire game by only killing one radroach.

Also you act as if you can only take one path through the entire game and that it is increasingly linear in that sense, which in every single case in this game, except for only a little bit less in the main quest, isn't true.

Conversation between two Ghouls overheard in Underworld.

Male Ghoul: "I don't care when I go, I just want to go quietly... and soon."

Female Ghoul: "Dude. Harshing the buzz. Minus five points."

I never understood this argument.

You sit much, much closer to your monitor than you do your T.V. Even if it is bigger, you're getting a bigger in-your-face picture than with a large T.V. Of course, if you have some 16 inch monitor you're better off, but if you've got anything close to 20 inches, your monitor gets you more in your face.

If only monitors had decent colors though...

I broke down and bought it. I like it but I agree with the AI complaints. If I'm sneaking around and set off a trap...the Super Mutant 100 feet away should take note and check it out...

I used to say the same thing till we got this one. I don't sit 20' back either, I like being close enough that I gotta turn my head to see the periphery. lol

It really does have better color quality than my monitor and I've got a Samsung 21" thats the best one I've ever used.
