Yeah this was on eBaums before, pretty damn sweet.

But it should be called Spanish Castle Magic.

It's cool watching it fade back to black and white.

It's interesting because the second you move your eyes it switches back to B&W.

thats so cool, as its fading you can look at other parts and it goes black and white but soon as you focus back on the dot its back color cause that meets the outline that was kinda burned into your eyes

At first I thought it was BS because I figured mousing over it just triggered a colored image to appear, but it's just black and white... Wild.

If you have an lcd monitor, tilt it upward and stare at the dot. when you take your eye off it, its b&w, and when you keep staring at the dot, and tilt the monitor back(but keep staring at the dot), its also b&w. Wierd stuff.

That happens because your perception changes. It'd do the same thing if you adjusted a CRT similarly.

So there must be a way to do this in Photoshop to any picture, right? Something with like a negative?

Yep whipped one up quickly in photoshop, had to make it a gif so it loses a lot of it's quality but it works.

It goes for 20 seconds with the color inverted image and then switches to the B&W one for 10-15 seconds. Figured I'd go along with the spanish theme so here's some spanish countryside.

Please if you wish to post this along, do not hotlink as it's hosted on my photobucket account.
