Yeah, I'll be adding all that kinda stuff nearer completion, I guess. Wind definitly - animal sounds, not so sure on personally, but I can always experiment and see how it goes . Other stuff as well, likely.

ty. Currently trying to make it a bit more defence-friendly, so it's not as "open" as it was in previous screenshots. Still some big open areas, but with more narrow chokepoints now which the def can focus on a bit more, and less easy places to jump to the CP.

Doubt it'll be ready for the map pack though, which is a bit of a shame I guess.

I would love to see this in game...let me know if you need a server to test it out in the future and I can lock down the UGC server.

Ahh, I already have that covered over at .id, but thanks for the offer

Having said that, once I get a new beta up, if you want to hold your own playtest then feel free, more feedback is always good!

Well, we had a playtest on the .id server today, showed up quite a few things that need changing yet, but meh, thats what playtests are for

I'll try and get some screen up at the weekend though.

I see a lot of topics asking for more AvD maps have appeared of late, so here's the latest iteration of my AvD map (even though I haven't worked on it for a few months now)

ff_basicbowl_b2

I've already had a betatest of this map, and it is fully functional. I do know of a few problems already. Here's a list of what I know about:


- Upper level probably too high
- CP3 is probably too long
- Some displacement issues, lighting, not joined etc.
- Backpacks need tweaking
- Could be signposted better, but hopefully it's signposted well enough to be playable


Anything else though, feel free to report it. Descriptive screens always welcome too

Hah, not really....

Since the last release I've pissed about with it a little bit at various times, but it's never come to much.

I'd probably restart it from scratch were I to ever work on it again. I've learned a fair bit about mapping in general since then and figure it'd probably be the best thing for the map.
