I can't help but wonder if the bear would have left him alone had he not attacked it... I mean really, basing the decision to attack based on "eyes full of hatred"? ...it's a bear, I don't think that statement really applies.

Boomstick would have been faster but good for that guy saving his own life. I don't know that I would have said,"bring it on" but I certainly would have fought as hard as I could. Crushing a bear's skull...that's one monster blow.
