Ya srsly, too early to be nitpickign like that. I'm just glad that the characters are more than 6 polygons and they're properly proportioned.
I hope they keep the number of classes small though... Anyhoo.... reinstalling D2 right now.

I watched the gameplay video, its quite awesome. I think warcraft 3 will be put away for a bit once this comes out (if my computer can run it).

Yeah I've never been much into Diablo at all but this one looks pretty cool, I might actually play it.

I wouldn't complain if the mosters were lower poly, because then you could have lots and lots of them on screen (which we saw to some extent ), but anyway, if the game is a year/year and a half from done I won't complain about that too much.

I hope Tyrael's sword becomes an artifact weapon you can obtain in this game. I know I was sure as hell willing to jump down that pit when it got swept away from him.

For my opinion on matters, read the first post here:
http://www.diablofans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9283 My first post on the forums gets put up In front of everything in the most talked about thread. Weird. I must make sense.

Sadly, it was just a regular crystal sword, so pretty weak. A cool idea, I just wish they hadn't come up with it until they added Phase Blades.

I've never played Diablo2, is it good enough to be enjoyable even today as a single player game?

I would imagine they want it to look like wow to encourage wow players to buy the game. It's a pretty big piss-off. The talk with Cain was a piss-off. And if the game-play is always that slow, then that's a piss-off; though it's too early to judge that.
It still looks fun, but I'm a bit disappointed tbh. Hopefully Blizzard sees that thread regarding its art style. |

The definition of "IN FUCKING DEVELOPMENT" eludes you. Because everything you see is what you get. They must setup Diablo 3 forums because they just want to it to be there and not listen to their actual clients and fan-base. Sit on your ass and wait. |

i think the criticism about the cartoonish art direction is legitimate and dismissing it as "in development" doesnt really address the issue.
