Speedometers and bhop information request.

I am curious what each classes specific speedometer speed is at normal run, and at maximum Bhop on a flat surface. What are the exact numbers? It would really be helpful to me to bhop and look down at my speedometer and make sure that im going at the top speed i can go at. Of course, you should be more mindful of gaining speed from other means, but when im on a flat surface, i wanna know!

You could turn the speedometer on and run?

I'm just saying, you got it on anyway.

I'm going to be doing a ton of stuff here in the next few days that document the various damages of all weapons at various ranges, explosion radius (all grenades and explosive weaponry), top achievable speeds through various means (natural, BHop, conc, etc), how fast players slow down from concs (how many jumps it takes, average amount of time it takes, etc.) how much push various weapons have (will be measured using the speedometer as well as rough estimates), the ROF of all weapons, the reload time of all weapons, etc.

It's mainly going to be used for reference, but I also plan to find out which rumors are true and which are not. Expect the first part of it (damage) by monday and then expect the rest shortly after.

It's also something to do.

I think he's wanting to compare what everyone else is getting to make sure he's getting the most out of his BHop.

I know bhop is available but for some reason I still stick to traditional groundhugging. Only movement enhancements I use is basic conc, trimp, and inclinesurfing.

I mean, I can bhop but I'm lazy and don't really see a point to it unless I'm dodging.

Class speeds are in their script files in FortressForever/scripts/

multiply their values by 1.2 to get the absolute bhop cap value. For example. a scout's base speed is 400, bhop cap is 480, but due to the elasticity you can maintain a speed of around 500. Wiggling also maintains around 500 speed. Glide jumping takes you to around 540 (actually with practice you can bring your glide jumps up to around 580 and probably beyond). Down-trimping off a ramp, this shoots up to about 700. double down-trimp brings you to around 950. Wallstrafe can take you to 600 also, which means bhop off that usually maintains between 600 and 500. Jump pads take you to 1000 and concs take you to over 1400.

Lmao, I love that map. Especially when Team deadly Dogs come online and I get to snipe their sorry asses thinking various ways of sending eachother across the map means I can't hit them.

Or trimp-conc off the first hill and land on the flag. One or the other.
