Scout lighter than medic?
Got into a debate about this on a random skill pub. Is the scout lighter than the medic, or just faster with equal weight? I say the former.

Obviously lighter because he's wearing less max armor. The more armor, the more weight, the less speed.

Yeah, scout is lighter I'd say. Easier to move a scout than a medic.

Scout has light armor and has less armor than the medic, so yeah, he's lighter.
HW has heavy armor (same as soldier), but for some reason he's so much heavier than the soldier. |

Maybe the HW is heavier since he has so much more of that red armor?
But anyway, how come armor has a weight now? In the Quake-source there was afaik an weight value for entities but I don't know if it was used like an normal weight for mass and stuff... |

There's some secret math in there. The HW barely gets out of the floor. Last edited by o_grg; 01-03-2007 at 02:54 PM. |

Scout eats celery, carrots and lettuce.
nobody has ever seen a Sniper eat. Soldier eats roast dinners and the occasional cow pie. Demoman eats baked beans, mostly. Medic eats multi-vitamin pills, paracetemol, and antivirals.. Hwguy eats anything he can see, but prefers cow pies, huge lumps of meat, and scouts. Pyro eats raw jalapeno peppers. nobody has ever seen a Spy eat, but he drinks expensive wines and dry martini. Engineer eats a healthy balanced diet, with extra beer and iron supplements. HW must be at least 3 times the weight of a soldier. |
