The real I Am Legend ending.

For those who haven't seen the movie, don't read or watch anything in the following link. Just don't. Not at all.

For those who have read the book and was wondering what the hell the movie had to do with the book besides a "I am the last of my kind" thing... well, this ending should ease your pain. It even makes more sense than the ending they showed in theaters. Toss out the little girl and the woman and it's very much like the book.

Like the author of the blog, I don't know why they didn't show that ending. Its happier, more enlightening, and all around... better. It shows that the 'monsters' aren't really monsters and have some degree of intelligence.

Which you can still gather from watching the movie, though. I don't think anyone could see that 'monsters' actions as being unplanned.

Everyone I know that has seen it thought the monsters were just mindless beasts going after a meal.

To be honest, I though the 'alternative ending' as it was called was pretty crappy. Well, I thought those 'monsters' were crappy from the beginning, but that only made it worse.

I don't like either ending. Cut the butterfly shit out of the movie, an have the ending more like the book that the movie is based on... or even remotely like the book the movie was based on. That would be me happy.

Seriously, just read a god damn book. They're always better.

I just finished Lord of the Rings again, and while I like the movies, the books have Tom Bombadil, the hands down awesomest character ever.
