Sniper Rifle
Hey I tried searching for the answer to my question but no results. Is the sniper rifle going to be a laser dot as it was in TFC or a cross hair like in CS?

No offense but I simply can not believe your search didnt come up with anything.
Edit: Sorry, It would have been nice to answer the question aswell: The sniper will have a red dot just like in TFC. Last edited by o_yorin; 05-05-2006 at 06:11 PM. |

would be better if the dot color was the same as the team color |

I think there was a topic awhile ago about that. I don't like it, 'cause this way leaved some guessign as to whom the dot belongs.

If there were teamcolor dots, then you'd know there is a sniper on you. Which would kind of give you an advantage, because the sniper may be hidden somewhere, but you know you're being targeted.

thats pretty much the intention about it that you know to which team this dot belongs to

The dot itself is enough, why making it unrealistic and give the dot another color ?
In RL (for the nublets: Real Life) you also don't see blue or green dots.. bad idea |

A crosshair for normal aiming, a dot for the charging. PHISH wins.

I'm not sure, but is the forum database truncated (pardon spelling) after so many days?

Tyrus, your spelling was correct
And there are a LOT of situations I get into where an enemy will think my dot is a friends dot, and where I don't know if a dot I'm seeing is friendly or not. This adds a ton of interest to the game which teamcolored dots would ruin. |
