This map is 20.4 megs. That's just the BSP without anything included in it. I'm not using any custom content besides a .00694 meg soundscape file. It does include cubemaps though.

Well, I think this map is finished, generally.
I can't find any errors in the map, anyway. I figured out how to use trigger_soundscapes, which are much preferable to env_soundscapes because you can't pass through them without triggering them. (Like, fore example, if you conc youself through an env_soundscape, you may not trigger it, but probably not so with trigger_soundscapes) I also still have to try to improve performance through some clever areaportaling, hint brushes and the like. One other thing I have to do is find someone to make me a texture. (If anyone knows how to make them and wants to make a texture that's solid 20 42 39, with no specular effects or normal mapping, drop me a line) |

Is "20 42 39" the color? Is that hex?

Yes, it's the color, but that's base 10.
In hex it'd be 14 2a 27. |

Is this what you're going for?
If so, try this: http://www.circuitous.net/files/204239.zip You should be able to put it in hl2/materials_src or whatever it is.

I've got the TFC version, I think, but I also have the source version that looks way better. I'm contemplating releasing the HL2DM version...

Hunted maps with a twist can be a blast. I ran the TFC Hunted League for three seasons. One of my favorite maps was JEC_Hunted. That added spies to the mix.
If we get enoug FF Hunted maps Ill do a ladder for that also. Although CTF will always be the core of TFC play, Hunted and A&D are a fun break. |

I can certainly imagine this map being a blast to play competitively.
Except that this map runs slowly... Oh well. |

Nezumi, why did you disappear? Why did you disappear like daddy disappeared? Daddy didn't love me either, Nezumi.

Yeah 2 years is no biggie. The mod took alot longer then that to make, yet we all waited.
Just wanted to let the mapper know all his hard work on the map is appreciated and I hope he finishes it and I'm hoping others will also want to see a final release. |

If this map ever gets released it's going to have to be almost entirely restarted. All of my maps wind up being a vis nightmare, but this one was completely undoable.
Actually I DID restart this map like a year ago. I kinda had the streets planned out, and a bunch of the areas got moved around. Anyway of all the maps I've ever even conceived of, this is the one I'd most like to see be released. But Cacti first since it's so very close to done and the framerate is 'tollerable' instead of '6'.
