Anyone making an oldschool 'medieval' map?
i remember playin a couple maps for the original tf that took place in castles and dark fortresses set in medival(sp) times and stuff, i kinda wanted to start up a map like that but since my mapping skills in source arn't very good...i was wondering if anyone here was planning on making one?
Something dark, rainy, lightning maybe, and using fire-light torches on the walls would kick ass |

I don't have sufficient experience in the original TF to name any maps, but a few like that from TFC, off the top of my head, would be smooth and raw_r (I'm sure there's a fair number of others too)
But yes, some medieval-style maps would be sweet for FF. |

They pretty much all look medieval. It's sorta weird.

Yeah, I know, but I didn't have any experience with the original
There was another (5v5) map I played that was a remake of an original TF map that had a neat castle theme, but I can't remember the name. I do remember it was hard to score on, though. |

And if the rumors are to be believed valve is going to take the TF name and run with it by putting striders and c17 and stuff into it. Not that I don't want to play that game, but it really isn't TF:anything.
