Ah, I went looking too. I ended up playing on the OT server as there was no one on the AE server. Circ found his way there as well...and I do believe he's the one who accused me of scripting the mirv leave behind...

I pave the way for the fast movers....it's what I do...

Ah, I must have gotten things mixed in the battle. Scripting to leave a gren behind seems kinda impossible. The only thing I've considered scripting would be a conversion of my old map specific O/D comm binds...though, tbh, voice makes most of that unnecessary.

lol there is no way to do it...you can script to have all your nades be primed / tossed as quickly as possible, but you still have to push the button in time to get it going and it would require a ton of waits and what not.

Not really worth it IMO...

I just happen to know that I'm walking into a maelstrom so I go primed and loaded for bear. I'm not a spammer...I'm a rapid-fire grenade delivery system...

lol I hate people that do that, but it is a valid tactic IMO...also it can backfire so it's fine by me.

When you try to help the fast movers in Dropdown and there's 1-2 SG's, 1 soldier, 1 demo and an occasional HWG in attendance finesse really isn't an option...personally I focus on the SGs and the fatass as the rest will run away or die when things start popping...hopefully the fast mover following in my wake can get to the switch so the next one in his wake can move the flag some...

That's what I had in mind when this all came up...and it's when the complaint came up last night...

I'm certainly open to suggestions if someone has a better way to move the switch and the flag.

Okay, well... we had a few strong weeks of Night Fights and a lot was learned.

A few people bitched about some of the maps. Once they STFU and played they had fun. I'm glad I accomplished that objective.

It's been harder to get people to come and play Night Fights since the game has been shifting around between different servers at night. So for now, we're going to kill the ol' scheduled tonight-we-play-this-map stuff for a week or two and use this thread as a sort of "Hey, a game is going on here".

So mods, players, anyone - when a game is going on and getting good, please give us a hollar in this thread with the following:

Hello: HAI GAIS WE BE PLAYED TEH FF
Server: IT BE OVER HERE 0.1337.666.123:27015
Map: WE'S BE PLAYIN' FF_LOL

Just don't sound as retarded as I do. You get the gist of it I hope.

Sorry to see servers shift...is there anything wrong with checking out the list of servers in Steam to see where everyone is playing? Sadly there only appears to be a handful going at any given time. I plan to be there tonight.

BTW, I have GOT to figure out how to play and not neglect my beer...(the one that I might drink on a given night...)
