Open canister - shake vigorously - watch your step. Keep out of reach of gazelles.

this should answer your question.

Since its a work in progress, saying what you think can be improved is entirely useful and can be taken into account...so do it.

I'll take that card into consideration thank you.
Upgrade your PSU and then your video card. You don't need a 7900GT to play FF. A 6800GS right now is a good sweet spot, or a 6600GT.

His case is an HP slimline, so he can't upgrade the PSU without getting a larger case most likely. The Mobo is probably also a unique model, and I'm not sure he'd have anywhere to actually put a new gpu in.

How are the beta testers chosen?

I think they should partially be chosen by their roll in the community.
Select TFL & STA Admins
Ruiner & Trinity of konspiracy.org
redman & direhit & others of The Catacombs (Unabomber)
Former league organizers, IGL - (Theseus?)

People who contribute to the community above & beyond what is expected.

Thoughts & views on this suggestion?

You will also need people that have been on the outside of league gaming. Throwing in loads of beta testers that have spent the last three years couped up in league play will result in a game that is tweaked to there needs, most likely. Along with these community leaders from the clan scene, you would also need people that represent the pub half of the game, namely server admins. There are admins out there that have run servers for many, many years, and know what the playerbase outside of league play wants.

Yoda is right. PC games have never had a good system set up to determine clan matches and it's almost impossible to find clans with matching skill levels who want to scrim. We need a group of clansmen who would be willing to test the beta to insure that it's clan-friendly.

I'm sure that making a game "clan friendly" probably isn't at the top of their list right now but hopefully they will take this into consideration.

Yeah, uh, and throw in some prominent community mappers because uh.. you have to beta test the maps too and they have keen eyes from map problems. Yeah. They are more sensitive to game flow and have a lot of attention for detail and recognize things that might not pop out to other people.

Yeah, that sounds good. *shifty eyes*
