lmao at the losers in this thread. gotta talk shit over the internet. good fun. alex, i stopped the clip because it wasn't in a pickup or match. I was just showing in the initial conc from yard to FR. FDA, you are funny, hilarious actually. I may not be near the best at this game, but I could take you on any day of the week without breaking a sweat. I never waste concs ROFL. If you see me throwing a conc, it's deliberate. Seriously, thanks for the laughs.

I love how because I'm subscribed to squeek I don't even have to go on these forums to remind myself how bad I am at FF.

Thing is though, the way you face from jpad jumping across the yard is always towards that wall (that is, if you look where you're going, and there's no real reason not to in the yard), meaning misthrowing the conc that you prime on the jump, will most of the time land in a suitable place for conc'ing across the RR.

It's almost as if it was designed that way. :L
But only a mapper with way too much time on their hands would think of that.

I remember going to a buddy's uncle's disco place when they were closed and setting up a whole network of computers to have lan parties just to play Worms World Party & Counter Strike for like 5 hours straight. They had this big ass projection screen so we played movies like the matrix n shit. So much fun.

Cool beans! Are you making a surf map or adding more surfing into a regular style map? If surfing, might I make a suggestion and go check out the slew of CS 1.6 surf maps for inspiration and tips on how to make a decent surf map? A lot of maps made by the mapper rinkon specifically are some of the best surf maps I've played, even though the mapper was kind of a dick.

The surf ramp was just there to try and get a smooth and speedy approach to the loop, but it wasn't necessary. I really just wanted to test out the sonic style loop. So I may make some type of sonic themed race map, seeing as those are all the rage these days.

Speaking of surf maps though. I had started working on a jump trix style surf map. Was going to be free style in a large open city setting filled with ramps. But when I went to compile the map it wouldn't run in FF. Just spawn in nothingness with no weapons. So idk.

Well that's just it, most surf maps are just trick maps with surf ramps strewn across em. If you actually make it similar to a concmap where you have to get through certain areas to eventually beat the map, those tend to be a lot more fun to play. Some trick maps are really cool, but I think having an objective is better in most cases.

Moto, I smoke weed too. I've only watched every electro music surf video on youtube. Anyways I think both types have about equal replayability, with free style maps maybe having a bit more. The objective surf maps are more or less the same thing every time, but you can always go back to try and beat records. Though a free style map like jump trix can be a completely different experience every time. Besides you could even put objectives in a free style map if you wanted.
