Brightness is good. It doesnt need to be dark, and the brightness fits to it.

Thanks for the comments! I'm glad you like the map. But what about the lighting?
It's not yet really done.. I'm tweaking it right now. Sh4x you say that the inside area of the map is too dark a little but it's because maybye your monitor is using another gamma then mine does i have an lcd. But however there is no area that is dark, i hate darkness.. I know how it feels playing dark maps.. But for those doom3 fans or something.. I will make a night version of amped after it's release.. And some interesting stuff is that i have been collection many screenshots of amped from the early version.. Like the layout and everything taken from scrath will be added in the pack called "the making of amped" for those who want to know how hard it is to work on such a big projects and maps for capture the flag modes.. My map is symetric and that's good i think.. Many of for example Ut multiplayer maps is non - symetric and that makes a big difference in gameplay.. I'll drop some screenshots for you.. Hopes you like them.. More details/news coming later.. Donny: Thanks again donny! I fixed the block thing problem.. It looks much better right now.. hopes you don't think the map is too - dark.. Some information about the map: I'm using a custom skybox "stormydays" I'm using Hourpitores custom textures - The map size is depending on the content - The bsp is about "14.5 mb" in the final version The pack will contain some extra materials "the making of amped" So the zip file will be zipped for maybe about 20 MEGABYTE. I hopes i can find a hosting for the map.. IF you know any free hosting give me a link, i don't know where i can put up my map.. Maybe on some ftp? Well.. more about that when the map is done.. One thing. I don't see any signs such as "Flag Room ->" or "Battlements <-". They are very important, especially for custom maps.
Apart from that looks good and I can't wait to have a quick run round on it. |

I love the details of the map.
I prefered the old dark ominous outside lighting. That really made the dead trees look spooky and really showed off the spotlights. Maybe you could make two versions: one day time as current, and one nighttime like before. just make one ff_amped and ff_amped_dark Either way this map is looking so awesome it should be a FF released map |

I reckon the sewer needs some scruffing up, although it looks nice at the moment I wouldn't look at it and think it was a sewer. Maybe some grimey decals? Or you could edit some textures, dunno.
Please include direction signs too. |

The sewers shot.. looks decent but id imagine itd be hell to walk around, with the slanted walls and sides you maybe should jump on.. maybe put in grates above the water?
Something surely has to be done about the stairs - maybe recess them in the slope they come out of or make them a different style than concrete... |

No it's not dark, it's just perfect
Sewers could be bit darker Imo, and something is missing, add some pipes and stuff to the walls and cealing that might do it. Like guy above me said ^ when we can sink our claws to this map :P |
