There's no point dragging this on any longer. We don't share the same point of view regarding privacy, and I doubt X amount of arguing will change that (it really has a lot more to do with how you were raised, and the environment you live in). If we can't even agree on something as fundamental as privacy, it becomes impossible to continue with matters like 'terrorism' and whatnot.

Don't let my pessimism stop the rest of you though.

Discussion, dialogue, interaction...those have a point and are useful. Arguing is simply a waste of time.

I dont have any problem with tags being built into cars, but I do worry that they will end up in everything that we buy. Then all a crim needs is some reader and they will be able to know what you have on your person (ipod etc) or even what gear you have in your house.
