Possibly a subtle dig at the TF2 video?

Wow. Oh my god.
That was the greatest thing ever. Someone beat me to posting the flaming skull though :P What was the deal with the pyro rockets though? They were all curving around. Are they guided now? This is going to have to be my new desktop or something, btw. |

I'm sorry but does anyone else think he looks, well, a bit retarded :P The demoman, his face looks cool! But I do wonder about his weak ankles, they are rather small, will they support his legs for a full 30 minutes FF match? More obvious here And finally the soldier: As I said earlier i just think the texturing is a bit out, as illustrated above. Look at the chest of the middle soldier. From this range his chest should look crisp, clean. At the moment it looks like a few ideas were attempted and none really worked and it became a mess. Looking again at the concept of the soldier he looked awesome. In my opinion, the person who textured him used too much of this grey/black camouflage-like texture. To get the job done quick The sniper on the other hand looks great textured! Look at his chest. The difference between the two is appalling Last edited by o_sacred; 09-07-2006 at 11:31 AM. |

Some people will complain about anything
Like you'll be studying a Soldiers chest texture when he's shooting at you. Top notch work Dev team. |

lol ginger ok :P Why bother even texturing or modelling anything then, they should just have used red or blue lego blocks for the classes. We would have had FF months ago
Also I love the video as I said before ;/, best media update by miles But if no-one ever complained about stuff they didn't like we would never get anywhere. Last edited by o_sacred; 09-07-2006 at 11:38 AM. |

sacred u nonce! Half the reason they took so long to release a video is because people start making judgements on unfinished work!
Like defrag said in response to your first (whine) post, the demo skin is just a placeholder, and most of the other stuff is still work in progress. If it looks shit in the final version (and after ive played it) then maybe i'll start with the moans and groans, but until then i think i'll just wait and be grateful for what we've got! |
