hmm, I did that auto download.
I'm having the most trouble with the last area. I can't think of any interesting architecture, and those huge, red-trimmed bricks, yea i know they gotta go. |

Thanks for the updated map file! It still has texture issues as others have pointed out but it's more viewable then it was before.
I will go ahead and add it to our dedicated FF Map server and update it as you make changes to it (or release new versions). To avoid people from having to delete the map before connecting to the server to check out an updated version please rename future versions to something like: ff_thecove_a2, ff_thecove_a1a or whatever. With it being on the server then at least people can look at it and give you input based on what the current status is on it.

btw: after I get the bspzip thing I'll change the map names when I update the map version, but as it is all im doing is getting things organized, not really changing anything else. |

Actually, it is not twice as big my friend, it is 2 MB bigger than his previous newest version.
As I told Beetle in a PM - you will know you got em packed once the file of the map slightly increase...which it did. Nonetheless, you failed to pakrat it again. :L

Its all from that cncr texture pack - I think it has to do with them having upper and lower case letters in them. |

I haven't looked at your latest build yet but other reported it still has problems
Naming is very important and has to match ExAcTlY or thing don't work right. If you take another stab at it I'll check it out. For the time being I'll just run the with missing textures on it. People interested in it at least can get a good grip of the maps layout and what not still.

WOOT! I got it to work. I'll post the solution in the mapping resources thread since it will be vital to those of you that want to embed cncr04's textures into their maps. ST, or whoever wants, download at http://files.filefront.com/ff_thecov.../fileinfo.html
417 you can put this on as ff_thecove_a1. the next version I give out will be a2 so don't worry about naming now that I got this sorted out. |
