www.interfacelift.com

Or, if you want to bypass the ad, try:
http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_b...oads/date/any/

I don't use ANY UI tweaker, because I find myself at home with Windows 7: I made 2 folders in Documents: "!Files" and "!Shortcuts", so I can easily find software that doesn't require installation, and I keep the "!Shortcuts" folder organized in 3 subfolders: Web, Programs, Games. That's all I need to be organized.

Software I could NEVER do without them:

7-Zip
CCleaner
TeraCopy
Daemon Tools
Disk Digger
FFDshow
Audacity/IMGBurn/JDownloader/Paint.NET/WinFF and some other free productivity progs

OH I was forgetting the Ubuntu partition and the Puppy Linux pendrive always at hand

Iconoid - Win 7 support finally. Been wanting click to show icons with auto hide for ages.
http://www.sillysot.com/

  • Save and Restore Icon positions for each (or every) screen resolution
  • Transparent icon backgrounds or use any color
  • Select any color for icon text
  • Automatically hide icons when you don't need them and show them when you do
  • Automatically or manually select the best color for the text background
  • Quickly minimize all windows so that you can see your desktop wallpaper.
  • See the help files (which include screen shots) for even more information.
  • Works on Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7.
    See download page for x64 information.

Shapeshifter

"Shapeshifter is the ultimate clipboard manager for the typical Windows power-user. It allows you to have several items in your clipboard (copying several items), and easily swap between them. Furthermore, it improves the way Windows handles copied information, by compressing it in the memory."

Just came across it now. Testing it out.

That last page looks like a bunch of spyware...and a lot them need to be purchased. The other two suggestions do more than I need. I'm looking for something where I just load up a file, and then split it into 35 equal parts for example, no editing, etc...

When I find sites like that I ALWAYS look at sourceforge.net. If they aren't listed on the site I avoid them.

I found exactly what I was looking for here:

http://mp3splt.sourceforge.net/

It has either a command line version or a GUI version using the GTK library. I'm using the command line version.

You can split into 5 minute chunks, or 20 equal length files, for example.

Cool. I would have bet money that mp3DirectCut could split a file into X equal segments (though obviously I never tried to do it before).

You are right, you can do it with mp3DirectCut, it just took a little more snooping. If anyone's interested:

- Load up file
- Special -> Auto-Cue
- Enter time, say one cue every 3 minutes
- File -> Save split...
