Uhm, I also read Circ's post about "if you can't run TFC now, you won't be able to play FF" as Ghost did - in regards of your comp. specs. Maybe you should chill out a bit and think a little before replying like that, Paft? Oh well.

yeah theres a few ways to do that , i used the _special when it first came out and got used to it, then after most leagues banned its use, i wrote a small config like that and had to actually start hitting my spacebar ;D...

You just can't get used to using space for bhopping? That's bullshit and you know it, give it a few days and you'll have adjusted just fine. I'm just glad you won't have to tweak the fuck out of your configs everytime you start with a fresh install of the game. And hopefully we'll see less of the muppets calling people 'hackers' for using scripts.

Elvis, with the method the FF Dev Team are using, you don't hold space and it jumps for you. What you do is press and hold until you jump, then let go of space and press and hold again until you jump; just like the Quake series.

you dont have to hold it down, it just makes it easier if you do. you can also press it right on time each jump ...

You can pseudo-time it if you want, it doesn't really matter.
Paft, for the record, I was referring to your persistent bitching about how your computer can't run TFC. I really don't give a shit if you can bhop, and your ability to bhop in TFC will have little if any bearing on FF anyway. There are quite a few people here who can't (or don't, or can but not very well) bhop, and for the most part no one gets any shit about it. Most of the elitism has run its course by now.

So, I'm looking foreward to the whole 'hold jump to jump' thing so I can bunnyhop like a pro without a script. It should make getting up stuff you have to duck jump up a lot easier too.

Timing's the only thing I suck at for TFC's bunnyhopping. And I really do suck at it. Even using the mousewheel. It makes me very sad.
Maybe if I tried it more than once every two months I'd get better, but it seems pointless now.

But yeah anyway, Player is right about the timing. You can have swell as balls timing, but you need to know how to MOVE with it...fun stuff...its so fun to prime a gren whilst bhopping and moving yer middle finger from the W key position to the D key just to keep hauling arse......... THEN BOOM SHAWKALAWKA |
