I can't find it now since it's blocked at work. I'm not even sure if it exists anymore on the forums. This was years ago I saw this.

He is in clan [Rabid] ... a good friend of mine played several matches with him and said he's awesome. Pretty sweet imo, considering I can barely pick up a pencil with my feet.

lol. I think you may have been taken on a ride. I doubt he plays with his feet.
I could be wrong, but sounds stupid imo, toes are bigger than fingers, and have less joints. |

No it's true... my friend is not the type to lie about these things, and he's seen the video and knows where to find it. I'll ask him for the link next time he drops in on IRC (usually weekends).

TF2 looks lame, there are certain points I really do not care for. Valves tf2 development team looks like they have strayed from the core of what a tf game is all about. FF looks more professional. The ff developers look like they have stayed closer to what a real tf game is supposed to be about. I doubt that I will will play tf2 with any seriousness. What game could be worth 9 years of waiting - none. Valve will stand up and say "ok its finished" some people will rush to buy it. Other people will say "so what?" I am in the "so what" group. The "so what if tf2 is finished" group will give the ff mod its biggest boost in membership. Last edited by ~kev~; 02-13-2009 at 12:59 PM. |

He meant in terms of the size of the playerbase.

2. FF does not have a hell of alot of money to play about with advertising etc. 3. FF does not have a huge player base TF2 has all these. See why it will be more popular? Sure, FF might be a 'better' game (in terms of looks and feel), but it will never reach the popularity of TF2. |

Why do you insist on being so negative? Why are so many people here so negative? The fans of ff should be more positive - ff is going to be great, tf2 is not going to be worth the 9 year wait. Long live ff, death to tf2 |

In my 11 years of pc gaming I have seen hundreds of games and mods hit the market. How about you? How old are you, how long have you been playing pc games? I speak from experience. I do not CARE how much a game is hyped, if its junk - no amount of hype can save it. I have gotten off topic with my post - sorry about that. I think FF will be released first. |

1) TF2 is coming out in October 2) It is not the same TF2 that was promised a decade ago (they have only been working on it for a few years) 3) Valve does not owe you a game, be grateful that they make games at all |

FF is an unofficial mod TF2 isn't. TF2 will be more successful in terms of players because it's from Valve. FF may (will) be more successful on game play and skilled side of things but TF2 will always have more players. Some old TF timers but the number of first timers/casual will keep growing.

I'm 24 years old and have been playing PC games starting with Wolfenstein 3D. I got into playing FPS games online with Quake so that'll put me at playing PC games seriously for about 11 years as well. I too have played QWTF and played that for a couple years before TFC was released. |

Not to forget that FF will be free, and TF2 you have to pay for.

BTW, ETF was totally free and you saw how well that turned out. Price doesn't always equal success. |
