the percentage of the class's maxspeed i think. whereas 100% would be normal running speed.

Well, I think I've heard it from a dev.
Anyway, as long as it's a little faster than tfc, it's fine for me (Make it 350%!) |

you wouldn't need to use any kind explosive jumps if you can bhop that fast. especially since you can double jump.

Will probably end up at 120-130%ish. But that will still function differently than TFC and faster speeds will be possible briefly if you use other means to get going faster. Still undergoing tweaking though.

it seemed unusually fast when the speeds were first tinkered with imo. looked gayer than michael portillo.

Well, it hasn't been properly balanced yet. The difference as I said is the cap is soft. Players will move slower than TFC off regular bhop, but will be capable of going faster for brief periods. Off of a conc for the first 2-3 jumps, for example. This scenario is fairly close to ideal, I'd wager.

Why the hell are you lowering it you fecking noobs? TFC was like brilliant and you guys just ruined it by making TFC2 so lame. Make bhop faster it's too slow at 120/130%, it needs quicker, damn non-trickjumping nubs.

I'm somewhat disappointed as well. I _like_ going fast ^_^
edit: I like to _keep_ going fast. Last edited by o_rannibunny; 02-23-2007 at 03:58 PM. |

are base speeds and make distances about the same? because this will really slow down gameplay

The speed of gameplay shouldn't be significantly changed. It will be different.

So... it'll be different, but not significantly different? Just minorly different? Barely noticeably different? Do wha?
