Well I had all the nightfight.cfg's and maplists.txt working fine yesterday. Today they quit working. I uploaded all the cfg's and maplists to my private server. They worked fine. So upon further investigation I found that mp_timelimit and mp_prematch weren't working. I don't know if it was a SM issue or not but I got pissed so I'm reinstalling the server. It will be back up and running by morning so see ya all tomorrow night.

How long do these night fight sessions last?? Cuz i went to the eO server man, it was hopping..we had a blast..circ was there, 50 was there, innoc was there..it was kicking..thats how a server should be..hell, we saw kube dawg and a few others..it was awesome..

Night Fights is usually only about an hour officially, but I'm sure people stick around afterward.

When I left around 10PM I think there were still around 10 people playing. I got really lucky on Epicenter with a detpack...Circ conced to cap...I missed the timing on my pipes but my detpack got him. Pure magic!

Two hours, officially. I start 'em at 8 EST and I end 'em at 10. If they carry over we just put up some random maps outside of the schedule.

I'm on the fence about waterpolo being included in next week's sports night. Waterpolo absolutely destroyed people's computers - I went from my normal 30FPS down to 10, and the game was unplayable.

I will probably cook up a special rotation for Tuesdays in the future where waterpolo will be a fifth map - if people want to play it, they can. If not, it's not gonna mess up anyone else's gametime.

Tonight's Wednesday, so more CTF!

yea waterpolo is terrible it crashes my 8800GT and 5600+ X2. which can play crysis on High.

Interesting to hear the complaints on waterpolo. I didn't notice that much lag or delay...no worse than murderball for me anyway.

Waterpolo messes with me, but only when the ball is out for a long time (ie: tons of spam)...so long as it's capped in a reasonable time I don't have many problems.

Ive only seen water polo running a couple of times, and it was very lagging. Which really suprised me cuz its a simple map. Isnt it?? Or is it the drawing of the waves and or splashes that causes problems.??
