Oh god thanks this is great.
I'm sure you guys are still tweaking things around, but goddam the sniper dot/beam are huge ass. Make them more discreet k thx plus now the beam gives out the sniper's location right away now (as well as being completely unrealistic (yes i said that now sue me) edit: Quote:

Nice update! That railgun model is looking amazing ingame.

Wow amazing shots, updates are sooooo grreat!
Man I so want this released... Question for devs: Will the laser be displaced a little bit when coming through the watersurface, as it would IRL? Would be great and totally confuse both sniper and victim... UNLESS they know their physics, and therefore may rejoice. |

thanks for the update. overall things are looking v. good, but i still have some questions and concerns..
what's with the dead spy screenshot? i still think the bags/backpacks look oversized and out of place...a small issue to be fair but with the number of bodies and bags lying around it wouldn't hurt to make them look a little nicer and reduce the size. edit: i did notice that you changed the backpack color?? i'm not sure as i can't find the old cz2 screenshots with those bags lying around but I think they are more green now. anyway that's a good thing, now just make them a tad smaller. also as some have mentioned the movement animations look somewhat awkward but it may look smoother in action... the conc warp effect is a nice touch but those expanding concussion rings in tfc are excellent for making def aware of where scouts and medics may be coming from as you can see the conc through walls. those textured rockets on the rpg don't look that great in the world view tbh, but that's a minor annoyance. no flag glow...yet Last edited by o_arsenalfc; 08-19-2006 at 05:47 PM. |
