After all their hard work, do you think Crytek is going to loose their second game to another bunch of greedy bastards? I certainly fucking hope not. |

There was rumors about it. Yet EA supposely told they were false, but it might be rumors again. Anyway you are right , it is published by EA. I never said it wasn't. But it's still the same to me.
I don't like Crysis one bit, the weapon bobbing is cheesy. Vehicles, ugly crosshair, it seems to take a full clip to take someone down. The latency is horrible. The multiplayer looks boring. Riddled with bugs, hell, they even showed us some oin the videos. The trees and leaves are amazing, that's about it. |

Actually after doing some more research it seems Crysis is being developped by Crytek and Electronic arts and it is published by Electronic arts. So i guess they have some sort of dirty little secrets going on.

Well, with EA involved, there could very well be "dirty" secrets going around. But I would prefer to believe Crytek is smart enough to just let EA publish the game, and thats about it.
EA is like a giant black hole. Once you get too close, theres no escape and your fucked. |

I've been playing BF2 throughout its patches since it was released. I still play even though they keep nerfing the damned c4...I loved pre-1.22 when you could frisbee the hell out of those beotches and own entire squads behind a fence/wall . But yeah, there are a hell of a lot of small bugs, but all in all I love the game. And I love the new map Road to Jalabad. |

Downloaded the latest patch (full patch...not the incremental) and installed it this weekend. I have to say that they have fixed the stuttering video for SP in BF2:SF play and a few other things so it's so far so good for me. Time to peep out MP and see if that's better as well.

Look at the Need for Speed games. The past four that were released are almost the same damn game but with new shitty rap music. That entire series has gone all to hell. Overall I hate EA. |

DiCE really hit a fluke with BF1942. It was a solid game with good top-level play (even if some maps were completely unsuitable for it), reasonable balance and a big focus on teamplay. With BF2, they started with the same foundation and then proved they have no idea how to properly support their products. From crashes, terrible map packs, and gameplay changes that only added to current game issues instead of addressing them, they dropped the ball big time. Sadly, BF2142 is the same but worse (I very promptly uninstalled the beta after getting into it.) This is a huge disappointment to me because I loved BF1942 and spent a long time clanning it. I was hoping BF2 and subsequently BF2142 to be the real competitive multiplayer combined arms games, but DiCE has showed they need another few years relearning how to make games before they can release another good AAA title. |

It seems the 1.4 patch is pretty stable after doing a full reinstall & patch, but that's the 927634976th incremental patch they've botched. Really, there should be no excuse...
