Hopefully when FF is completed, we not gonna see 200-0 scenarios
its a big problem trying to figure out a system that can deal with it.
im sure FF team will think of something creative that wont include TFC style autoballance because it realy was a bad solution

If any autobalance is included, it has no choice to be an option. How fucked up would a clan game be if it were a shut-out and suddenly someone from your side got popped over to the other one?

Not to poop on this discussion but we've got a great solution to the balance issue on public servers. It's not implemented yet though so I can't share.

How is a "sneaky hint" different from a "snide remark"? Enlighten me.

Just to be clear

Manalishi in another thread, when questioned why he resorted to using personal insults:
Quote:
(..)Being polite doesnt distract from the fact that he made a snide comment. Some might have gone further than i did. Say something like that to someone in real life and I wouldnt be suprised if you got put on your ass. Snide people are...unpleasant.(..)
(..)Being polite doesnt distract from the fact that he made a snide comment.(..)
(..)Again, you are being snooty and snide. You need to take yourself down a peg two(..)
Manalishi in this thread:

It's funny how you preach about not making snide remarks in one thread when that's exactly what you're doing in here. What will be your excuse next time you decide to start calling people names?

No you didn't suggest anything. You made a snide remark and noone likes snide people, remember?

Haha, yeah it's much worse. Saying your opinions aren't based in fact isn't impugning your character.

Drop the bickering, people. Enough is enough. You've all made your "points", so it's time to move on to something else.

I've read this whole thread, and forgot most of it.

In conclusion, I kinda like the idea of not letting people who have just joined the server join the winning team, if it's winning by a lot. No one gets switched after they've started playing.

Sometimes the teams needed to be evened even if noone has joined the server. People do leave the server in the middle of a game and it's not always done so evenly.

Which is always an option. Unforunately people are A-holes sometimes. Maybe announce that the teams are not even to give someone time to volunteer to switch teams and if noone does then start moving people. Probably has it as an option that is off by default.
