It's more like "I want you," but whatever. Yeah, it's Spanish. I pointed that out.
NOBODY READS MY POSTS! Whoa, think I just had a myspace moment.

it would appear the rosenrot has been released in the U.S. i was xmas shopping with my girl today and had to go into hot topic (i hate having a goth sister), so i went to look at the cds while my girl picked out a gift or something. sure enough, rosenrot is right there, 2 copies, 16.99. i picked up one, and the chick that worked there that iw as talking to grabbed the other and put it behind the counter.
it is fucking excellent, and the album art is holy fucking shit spectacular. oh yeah, and do any of you own, or have any of you seen the book that they released shortly after mutter with all the really badass photos? i just looked at that again, and goddamn. this band never ceases to amaze me. edit: apparently hot topic believes in importing? doesnt make any sense as the liner notes are in english, but whatever, ill take it |

Ok so you went into hot topic with your "girl".
And you hate having a "goth sister". So would it be safe to say you are dating your sister? |

unfortunately for laughs, that is not the case. i was christmas shopping with my girlfriend; we went into hot topic to get my sister something since she is goth. i hate having a goth sister because i dont necessarily like hot topic, though it came through in the clutch this time.

They could have imported from Canada. I think it was released in Britain as well.
I'm trying to get a hold of the video for Rosenrot (supposedly it's really good), but no luck so far. Edit: Haha, looks like this guy was there just before you! http://herzeleid.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=652475 Quote:

Double-post time.
The latest newsletter had links to the Rosenrot video. If you wanna see it, use this link. (Sorry, it's Real Player only. The WMV link doesn't work.) It also had the best fucking shirt ever (if you like Zerstören).

The best songs rammstein made In my opinion is "Links 2 3 4"
It's a nice pumpin track! "Sonne" It's beautiful song "mutter" It's a great song again "Feur Frei" is ... amazing drums and rock Rammstein is a goodrockband but the new albums is not as that good as "mutter". Rosenrot is from my point of view an nice album but the tracks is strange like the quero puta.. wtf? |

Te Quiero Puta! is a good song. Yeah, it's different (the Spanish, the horns, the "puta"), but if you get past that and just listen to it... it's pretty good.
As for Rosenrot as a whole (and Reise, Reise for that matter)... yeah, the earlier stuff was harder. More industrial rock. And those albums are great for it. I'm listening to Tier right now, and oh man... But I still love the new albums. They're softer now, but all the band members have come a long way. The playing is a lot better, a lot deeper. It may lack some of the awesome riffs of before, but the whole thing has come forward musically, and it's fantastic to listen to.

they truly have evolved over the years, and i think that is definitely for the better.
one thing that always surprised me is that they have all been together for so long. the band has never had a roster change, as compared to bands like dimmu borgir and cradle of filth who go through at least one change in band members between each album. |

After Mutter they "split up" while they each decided if they wanted to continue making music together. Sure enough they all did.
So, yay! Rammstein!

Resurrection.
Dunno how many of you have a PSP *and* like Rammstein... but just in case, I've made wallpaper. The image is a promotional photo from the Rosenrot video, worked pretty well.

^ Someone's taking the lyrics too seriously.
Okay, so they sing about rape, and incest, and pedophilia, and necrophilia, and other "questionable" stuff. But then you've got songs like Amerika, Amour, Benzin, Du Hast, Ein Lied, Engel, Feuer Frei, Feuer und Wasser, Ich Will, Keine Lust, Links 2 3 4, Los, Morgenstern, Mutter, Ohne Dich, Reise Reise, Rosenrot, Sehnsucht, Sonne, Spieluhr, and Stirb Nicht vor Mir that are (relatively) harmless.

They'll be fine. Even if they translate it they'll forget it a moment later.
