Really I don't care what religion you are... and I do hope those kids do view their faith as critically as they view science later on in life. Same goes for atheists too, blind faith in science is just as bad as blind faith in religion.

Atheists simply do not believe in gods, hence te word origin:
- a (from αν; meaning absence of, none)
- theus (from θεος; meaning god)

So it has nothing to do with (blindly) believing in science, it simply means you deny the existence of a god.
