Oh, I already said that the ID links to Alligator. Your right, I have used around 60+ steam ids (used em, sold em on ebay after use). I have aliased in TFC for so many times that I have lost count, yuck. However, the only HL2 key I have ever purchase and still use is STEAM_0:1:1578914. Unfortunately, I won't be able to load the demo to see whether that's the ID or not (don't have Dystopia). Either way, I could careless about what conclusions are made.

For those checking on in just now it seems that one SteamID (STEAM_0:1:5546619) Alligator has used before (namely in hacking and cheating related stuff) has been used to spam and disrupt Dystopia games in the name of FF (download demo here to play in dystopia).

However, Alligator denies to be the author of said spam, arguing that while he has admittedly used "60+" SteamIDs and aliased "lost count" times in TFC, he has owned only one HL2 steam account ever, which isn't the one used in the demo.

Against my better judgement I'm going to indulge myself in this thread which is going nowhere happy, fast.

So here we have a random poster coming on accusing a FF community member of spamming in a rival mod. Alligator proceeds to lambast the aforementioned, whereupon it is realized that a "typo" correction now implicates Alligator as the alleged spammer. Tens (if not hundreds!) of spellbound FF readers are now presented with the ultimatum: install dystopia and find out who the REAL killer was, or don't and spend the rest of eternity wondering.

This is either a really clever and convoluted ruse to get more people to play dystopia, or...well, that's pretty much it.
